IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should
always be followed,including the following:
· Read all instructions before using.
·Before connecting the coffee kettle to the power supply, check that the
voltage indicated on the appliance(underside the coffee kettle & base)
corresponds with the voltage in yourhome. If this is not the case, contact
your dealer and do not use the coffee kettle.
·Do not let the cord hang over the edge of a table or counter or touch a hot
surface.
·Do not place on or near a hot gas or electric burner or in a heated oven.
Do not operate the appliance without anything in it to avoid damaging the
heat elements.
· Ensure that the coffee kettle is used on a firm and flat surface out of reach
of children, this willprevent the kettle from overturning and prevent damage
or injury.
· To protect against a fire, electric shock or personal injury, do not immerse
cord, electricplugs or coffee kettle in water or other liquids.
·While water is boiling, or just after the water has finished boiling, avoid
contact withsteam from the spout.
·Always take care to pour boiling water slowly and carefully without tipping
the coffee kettle too fast.
· Be careful when refilling when the coffee kettle is hot.
· Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near
children.
· Do not touch the hot surface. Use the handle or the button.
· The attached base can not be used for other than intended use
