2 - Adaptive operation
The LED display as figure "H" has a scrolling display for "AdA" and "_". The
device will do auto adaptation process; if any problem, the screen will display
"F1", "F2", "F3" and "F4" errors ; if auto adaptation is correct, device will enter
into normal display mode.
F1 - If valve is driven slowly, check whether valve is jammed ;
F2 - If adaptation range is too wide, check whether valve is not installed in place.
Whether the screw is tightened, and also try to add the plastic cap in the
accessories package and repeat adaptation process from beginning.
F3 - If adjustment range is too small, check whether heating valve is blocked
and valve resistance is too large.
F4 - The valve is not installed or valve travel was not detected properly. Repeat
adaptation several times if necessary.
Over time and with wear, the threaded ring may become damaged, making it
difficult to open or close the valve. If the device shows error F4, uninstall device
and add one or two of the shims delivered in accessories package as following
figure between valve and radiator adaptor . Repeat installation adaptation
process from beginning.
3 - Operating modes
Device has 3 operation modes : auto mode (automatic mode), manu mode
(manual mode) and holiday mode, and device can be recurrently switched into
different modes through a simple press on touch mode key "G" (as figure).
The LED "B" and "D" indicate three status :
- "B" lighting on: holiday mode
- "D" lighting on: Manu Mode
- "B" and "D" go out : Auto mode
3.1 Auto mode
Short press recurrently on touch mode key "G", until the both key "B" and "D"
lighting off, device enter auto mode.
Rotate the wheel right and left to adjust temperature value : range is
(0.5C-29.5C), with 0.5°C for each step. Device will be operated based on the

manual setting temperature until the next automatic temperature skipping time
is reached.

The LED "H" display temperature as weekly program (temperature can be
changed temporarily with this mode using wheel. When the period is over and

you move on to the next cycle, the temperature changes automatically).
Example : in automatic mode programmed in 2 periods: 20°C until 8pm and
17°C after 8pm. If you now turn the knob and increase the temperature to 22°C,

this change remains valid until 8pm, after which the temperature automatically
drops to 17°C.
3.2 Manu mode
Under the manual mode, the device will set the room temperature as display
temperature till to be changed to other mode. The temperature can be changed
manually by the wheel.
Rotate the wheel right and left to adjust temperature : range is (5.0°C to 29.5°C),
with 0.5°C for each step. After temperature is set, device will be operated based
on the current temperature value.
3.3 Holiday mode
If the temperature needs to be kept at constant temperature within a period of
time (such as during a trip), holiday mode can be used.
• Short press recurrently on touch mode key "G", until the "B" lighting device
enter Holiday mode
• Knob key to set duration of holiday (by hours) and then press on confirm key
then enter the next date setting.
• Set the holiday start date and toggle between the button and the "confirm" to
set
temperature, then confirm.
If the holiday time is inside of present time, it will enter auto mode.
If the holiday time is in the future time, it enter auto mode and the device will be
switch to holiday mode automaticly as setting time
arrival. At the end of the selected period, device will be back to automatic mode.
4 - Menu and settings
Long press mode button "G". The screen displays "PRO", and also can display
"PRO > dAt > Aer > toF > rEs > Pos"in turn by rotating wheel and pressing
confirm key to enter relative function setting. If there is no operation for 30
seconds, the screen will be returned to the previous interface.
4.1 "PRO" Week programming
The default setting for each working day have 5 daily timeslots, and up to 9
segments can be set. The temperature setting must include the whole time from
00:00 to 23:59 at selected programming data.In the end of day set must press

confirm in the end of 24:00 for every setting. In default mode, there are 2
temperature rising time range daily (5 setting values as following).
The first stage (00:00) -----06:00 default value is 17°C .
The second stage 06:00-----09:00 default value is 21°C .
The third stage 09:00-----17:00 default value is 17°C
The forth stage 17:00-----23:00 default value is 21°C
The fifth stage 23:00-----(23:59) default value is 17°C
The setting value can be selected for a day of the week (e.g. 4-4 Thursday) / a
Shims
weekend (6-7) / a whole week (1-7) / working days (1-5) using the thumbwheel.
Use the "confirm" button to enter the settings menu for each day, select "24:00"
to confirm and confirm the value entered.
Note that the screen can only display 3 digits. It will initially display the hours in
the first two digits, and the minutes in the last two digits.
Turn the thumbwheel to set the time of the time slots (5 minutes per interval).
