TO TURN THE FLAME OFF
1. Turn the igni� on knob to the "OFF" posi� on to cut off the
fuel supply (Fig.5).
• Wait un� l the fl ame is completely ex� nguished before per-
forming the next step.
2. Li� the canister lock lever to the "UNLOCK" posi� on and remove the canister from the
compartment (Fig.5).
NOTE: Do not turn off the gas cylinder inside the burner when in use.
6. AFTER USE
1. Replace the cap back on the cylinder a� er removing it from the burner. Store in an
upright posi� on in a cool, dry place.
2. Make sure the burner is cool to the touch before storing the unit.
7. ACTIVATION OF THE AUTOMATIC SAFETY SHUT-OFF DEVICE
• When used in high temperature areas, such as the beach during the summer or in a hot
room, the internal pressure of the butane gas cylinder may rise to more than 500kPa
(normal pressure=200-300kPa). This will ac� vate the automa� c safety shut-off device
inside the regulator.
• Remove the butane gas cylinder from the compartment.
• If the burner has been in use and has been opera� ng correctly, the butane cylinder
should be cool to the touch. If it is not and feels hot, go back to the "Precau� ons" sec-
� on of the burner usage sec� on and confi rm that you are using the burner correctly.
• Turn the igni� on knob to the "IGNITION" posi� on to release excess gas inside the re-
gulator.
• Repeat the 3 steps to insert the gas cylinder a� er it has cooled down.
