BEFORE OPERATING THE AIR PURIFIER
1. Select a firm, level and flat location for the air purifier.
• For proper air flow, locate the unit at least 1 foot from any wall or furniture.
• Make sure none of the grills are blocked.
2. Plug the power cord into a 120V AC outlet.
OPERATING THE AIR PURIFIER:
1. Turn the air purifier ON by pressing the Power/Fan Speed button. The unit will start in "AUTO"
mode and the display will show "A" for 5 seconds before showing the AQI.
Note: The corresponding control panel lights will turn on depending on the features selected.
Filter Reset - The filter reset light above the Power/Fan Speed button will flash when it's time to
change the filter. Replace the filter according to the instructions (page E6) Press and hold the
Power/Fan Speed button for 3 seconds to reset the light indicator.
2. Fan Speeds (1-3) - Press the Power/Fan Speed button once for low speed, twice for medium
speed, and three times for high speed. The display will show "1-3" depending on the speed
setting for 5 seconds before showing the AQI.
3. UV-C - Press the UV-C button to turn on the UV-C light. Press the button again to turn the
UV-C light off.
UV-C Reset - The UV-C light indicator above the button will flash when it's time to change the
bulb. Replace the bulb according to the instructions (page E7). Press and hold the UV-C button
for 3 seconds to reset the light indicator.
4. Sleep Mode - Press the Sleep mode to turn off display lights. The display will show "SLP" for
10 seconds and then all control panel lights and AQI display will shut off. The air purifier will
then run at the lowest fan speed.
What is Auto Mode?
When in Auto Mode, the fan speed will change depending on the air quality level in the room.
If the AQM detects higher particle levels, the air purifier will kick into a higher fan speed. After the
air quality has improved, it will lower the speed. You can leave the air purifier in Auto Mode 24/7
for best results. To exit Auto Mode, press the power button again to cycle through the remaining
fan speeds.
What is Sleep Mode?
In Sleep Mode, the air purifier will run at Speed 1 with all the lights off.
To exit sleep mode, press the Sleep Mode button again or the Power/Fan Speed button.
