7. The following assistance levels are available:
OFF: The motor assistance is switched off. The Quick Haul Long
can be operated as a normal bicycle through pedaling.
ECO: Effective assistance at maximum efficiency for maximum
cruising range.
TOUR: Uniform assistance, for touring with long cruising range.
SPORT: Powerful assistance for sporty road-riding, as well as for
urban traffic.
TURBO: Maximum assistance, supporting the highest speed for
sporty riding.
8. The walk assistance aids you when pushing your Quick Haul Long. The
speed of this function depends on the selected gear and can reach a
maximum of 6 km/h (3.7 mph). To activate the walk assistance, briefly
press the WALK button
on your Operating Unit. After activation, press
the " "
button within 3 seconds and keep it pressed. The e-bike drive
is switched on.
Note: The walk assistance cannot be activated at assistance level OFF.
The walk assistance is switched off as soon as one of the following occurs:
You release the
button;
The wheels of the Quick Haul Long are locked (e.g. by applying the
brakes or hitting an obstacle);
The speed exceeds 6 km/h (3.7 mph).
The walk assistance function must only be used when pushing the Quick Haul
Long.
There is a risk of injury if the wheels of the Quick Haul Long are not in contact
with the ground while using the walk assistance.
The walk assistance function is subject to local regulations; the way it works
may therefore differ from the description above, or the function may even be
deactivated completely.
9. Use gears as you would on a conventional bicycle to maintain an efficient
cadence for your riding style. This will maximize the efficiency of the
assistance to your power input and prevent premature wear on the drive
system.
10. Note the drive assistance is limited to:
25 km/h in countries that follow the EU standard
32 km/h (20 mph) for Class 1 in countries that follow the USA standard
Practice handling the Quick Haul Long in a safe area before riding on public
roads.
Lighting
The front and rear lights can be switched on and off using the Operating Unit.

The front light beam angle must be adjusted downwards as not to blind
oncoming traffic.
