Operating the Snow Blower
WARNING: Never engage the auger unless your hands
and feet are away from the rotating parts.
WARNING: Keep bystanders and pets away from the
snow blower when this unit is in use.
WARNING: Watch out for rotating auger. Keep hands,
feet, hair, and loose clothing away from any moving parts
on the machine.
To Engage / Disengage the Auger
1. Engage the auger by squeezing the auger control lever
against the upper handle. (Fig.10A).
2. Release the lever to stop the auger. (Fig.10B)

WARNING: The auger will continue to rotate for a
short period after the auger control lever is released.
WARNING: If snow gets stuck in the chute do not
try to remove it before stopping the engine and
disconnecting the spark plug wire.
WARNING: Do not put your hand inside the chute or
auger.

To Adjust the Snow Discharge
Direction and Height
WARNING: Never direct discharged snow towards
bystanders; this may cause serious personal injury.
Changing Discharge Direction:
To change the snow discharge direction, grasp the chute
rotation handle and rotate to the left or right. (Fig.11)

Changing Discharge Height:
WARNING: If snow is stuck in the discharge chute do
not try to remove it before:
- Releasing the auger control handle.
- Stopping the engine.
- Disconnecting the spark plug wire.
1. Grasp the chute deflector handle.
2. Squeeze the trigger and move the deflector upward or
downward to a suitable height. The snow blower offers
different angles from -5º~55º. (Fig.12A/Fig.12B/Fig.12C)
3. Release the trigger to lock the chute deflector in place.
