Montage
The assembly of the grill takes place by means of a comfortable joint system. You must connect the individual parts to
each other as shown in these instructions. Ensure the complete removal of all packaging material.
Start-up
Before the first use:
Before the first start-up it is advisable to clean thoroughly the components of the grill to remove any material residues
(e.g., lubricants) from the production. It is nevertheless possible that in spite of the cleaning still slight rests remain in
material residues on the appliance. The first lighting should therefore take place „blind", so without food. The big heat
leads to the removal of these material residues. Carry out the first lighting only in a well-ventilated area, because this
could possibly lead to the development of an unpleasant smell, which causes anyway no health risk.
Normal Start-up:
1.
Open the fan case and insert in the suitable compartment 4 batteries type AA. This step can be omitted, if you
want to run the appliance with a power cable over the USB connection.
2.
Remove the charcoal container and distribute some lighting gel (preferably in a circular form) on the plate lying
underneath; the gel must comply with DIN-EN 1860-3. Fill now the charcoal container.
3.
Switch on the fan by means of the rotary knob (outside, below).
4.
Ignite the lighting gel carefully.
5.
Reinsert now the charcoal container and put on his cover.
6.
Wait until the charcoal is covered by a layer of white ash.
7.
Apply now the desired cooking grate. Ensure the correct locking of the grate by means of 4 pins and 2 clips. The
grill should be set solidly and safely.
8.
Regulate the desired heat (the fan remains constantly active) with the rotary knob
Attention:
Batteries and lighting gel are not included in delivery.
