APPLICATION AREAS AND USE
ACCORDING TO THE INTENDED PURPOSE
The Marie Integral seat and restraining system is a medical
product of risk class 1 and is available in one size. It is
designed for conveyance of children and teenagers with
disabilities. The adaptation of the seat and the equipment with
disability-specific accessories is done by the specialist dealer.
INDICATION
Marie Integral offers support to children who suffer on motor
developemental delay (e.g. neuromotor impairments like
cerebral palsy, spina bifida, muscledystrophia duchenne,
spinal muscular dystrophia, ...) which lead to unvoluntary
movements, muscular hypo- or hypertonia, weakness, reduced
trunk stability, joint deformation among others ...)
With special features and adjustments Marie Integral
reducedes these symptoms and helps to keep physiological
positioning during transfers.
INSTALLING THE HEADREST WEDGES
The wedge-shaped cushions of the headrest wedges serve
to reduce and better adjust the width of the head. They also
stabilise the child's head.
