On the Home screen, swipe from the left
edge of the screen to right or press the
menu button in the top left, to open the
Application Drawer to access most of the
meter's options:
• Home
• View/Add Logs
• Messages
• App Store
• Settings
• Control
Solution Test
The Application Drawer has access to many of the apps available
on your BGM. To access all available applications, press the Apps
icon, or select using the UP/DOWN/ ENTER buttons, on the
bottom Apps Bar of the Home screen.
Preparation and safety
Before you begin, make sure to:
• Set up your BGM properly.
• Review the Quick Start Tutorial that appears on screen upon
the fi rst time powering on the device. The tutorial shows how
to use the BGM and several of its main features.
Note: The Quick Start Tutorial may be reopened again
through the Support App.
• Run a control test before fi rst use. (See "Step-by-step guide to
control solution testing" on pg. 19
• Wash your hands and testing site thoroughly with warm water
and soap. Dry your hands well.
• Test in a place where the temperature range is between
50˚F (10˚C) and 104˚F (40˚C). (See "Troubleshooting" on
pg. 54
.)
• Keep away from direct sunlight and heat. Store the test strip
bottle in a dry cool place.
