IMPORTANT SAFEGUARD
Before using the electrical appliance, the following basic precautions should always be followed
including the following:
1. The appliance is designed exclusively for private use and for the envisaged purpose. This appliance
is not fit for commercial use. Do not use it outdoors (except if it is designed to be used outdoors).
Keep it away from sources of heat, direct sunlight, humidity (never dip it into any liquid) and sharp
edges. Do not use the appliance with wet hands. Do not put it in water.
2. When cleaning or putting it away, switch off the appliance if the appliance is not being used and
remove the attached accessories.
3. Do not operate the machine without supervision. If you should leave the workplace, always switch
the machine off.
4. Check the appliance on a regular basis. Do not use the appliance if it is damaged.
5. Do not try to repair the appliance on your own. Always contact an authorized technician.
6. In order to ensure your children's safety, please keep all packaging (plastic bags, boxes, polystyrene
etc.) out of their reach.
Caution! Do not allow small children to play with the foil as there is a danger of suffocation!
7. To protect children from the dangers posed by electrical appliances, make sure that children do not
have access to the appliance.
8. Do not stand on the scale.
9. Use only the recommended batteries.
10. Do not dispose of old batteries with domestic waste. Drop them into a dedicated recycling bin.
11. Never re-charge single-use (non rechargeable) batteries.

USING THE MACHINE
Setting time and temperature
1. To set time, turn on the scale, press the UP button to select hours. Now press the UP or DOWN
button to change the value. Accept the setting with the TARE button. Do the same when setting
minutes and press TARE.
2. To set ambient temperature, first press the DOWN button and then UP or DOWN to set the value.
Accept the setting by pressing the TARE button. Now the scale will follow the actual temperature
inside the device.
3. To check the time or temperature, press and hold TARE or UNIT, respectively.
Weighing
1. Place the scale on a stable, even and dry surface. Only an even surface will provide accurate
readouts.
2. Press TARE / (*) to turn the scale on. After approx. 2 seconds it will display "0".
3. You can start weighing.
4. The current unit of weight is displayed. You can change the unit.
5. The scale will turn off automatically after approx. 20 seconds of inactivity.
Changing the unit of weight
After turning the scale on, you can change the unit of weight with the UNIT button. Toggle between g
(grams), lb (pounds), oz (ounces) and kg (kilograms) by repeatedly pressing the button.
Taring
After turning the scale on, you can tare it to obtain the net weight of your product: weigh an empty
package (e.g. a jar), press TARE, wait until the scale displays "0", then weigh your product placed in
an identical package.
TROUBLE SHOOTING:
1. Display "EEEE" .if weight exceeds the maximum capacity of 5kg.
2. Display "Lo". Low battery. The user is advised to replace a pair of new battery.
CLEANING
1. Remove the batteries before cleaning the device.
2. Wipe the device with a cloth moistened with a solution of water and a mild detergent, then wipe dry.
3. Do not use any caustic cleaning agents.
4. Protect the scale against the penetration of water or other liquids.
5. Never immerse the device.
