First use of the machine
Read these instructions carefully and keep them for future reference. Please run one
brewing cycle with fresh water and without coffee before it is used for the first time.
Directions for brewing coffee
• Place the Wilfa PRECISION on a flat surface.
• Fill the removable water tank with fresh cold filtered water; use the measure indica-
tors marked on the side of the water tank.
• Place the coffee filter (No.4) in the filter holder. Place the desired quantity of ground
coffee in the filter.
• We recommend the following ratios of water and coffee:
1,25 l - 69g (2,33 oz)
1 l - 55g (1,86 oz)
0,75 l - 41g (1,39 oz)
0,5 l - 28g (0,95 oz)
0,25 l - 14g (0,47 oz)
• The Wilfa measuring spoon filled with coffee contains 15g (0,5 oz).
• Adjust the flow control at the base of the filter holder to match the brew volume.
• Flip the power switch located on the side of the base. The "Wilfa" button will blink
twice.
• Press the start button to start the brewing cycle.
• By fully closing the flow control aperture after brewing, it will act as a drip stop.
• Coffee should be served as soon after brewing as possible!
• Turn off the power to the brewer when you are done using it.
Please note that different grinds and coffee
types will influence these ratios somewhat.
