High temperature protection
The temperature sensor mounted on the heating element monitors the
temperature inside the cooker from time to time. Whenever an excessive
temperature is detected, the heating element will stop its power output.
Residual heat warning
When the top has been operating for certain time, there will be residual heat. The
letter "H" appears to warn you to keep away from the top.
Auto shutdown
Another safety feature of the top is auto shutdown. This occurs whenever
you forget to switch off a cooking zone. The default shutdown times are shown in
the table below:
