3. Safety Notes
• The product is intended for private, non-commercial use
only.
• Use the product for its intended purpose only.
• Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not
play with the device.
• Do not use the product in areas where the use of
electronic devices is not permitted.
• Connect the product only to a socket that has been
approved for the device. The electrical socket must
always be easily accessible.
• Disconnect the product from the network using the
power button – if this is not available, unplug the power
cord from the socket.
• Lay all cables so that they do not pose a tripping hazard.
• Do not bend or crush the cable.
• Do not drop the product and do not expose it to any
major shocks.
• Dispose of packaging material immediately according to
locally applicable regulations.
• Do not modify the device in any way. Doing so voids the
warranty.

5. Startup and Operation
5.1 Mast mounting
Mount the antenna on the mast using the enclosed
antenna holder, the metal brackets and the mounting
screws. Inappropriate screws can damage the antenna.
5.2 Wall mounting
Mount the antenna on the wall using the enclosed
antenna holder. Use the enclosed screws and dowels for
this purpose.
Inappropriate screws can damage the antenna.
Note
Before you start to mount the antenna to the wall,
please select a suitable mounting place which
guarantees optimal reception.
5.3 Orientation
This DVB-T antenna is designed such that both horizontally
and vertically transmitted channels can be received.
The antenna must be pointed towards the transmitter
horizontally or vertically depending on the signal strength
and signal direction.
