Checking the grill and pack contents

NOTICE!
Risk of damage!
If you are not cautious when opening the packaging with a sharp
knife or other pointed object, you may damage the grill.
− Therefore, be careful when opening it.
1. Take the grill out of the packaging.
2. Check to make sure that the delivery is complete (see fig. A and B).
3. Check whether the grill or the individual parts exhibit damage. If this is the
case, do not use the grill. Contact the manufacturer at the service address
specified on the warranty card.

Before first use

Before first use, you must heat up the grill in an empty state
once to completely remove the production residue.
Odor and even smoke may be produced during first use. This
is normal and will only last a short time. Make sure the room is
adequately ventilated.
1. Remove the packaging material and all protective foils.
2. Clean all parts of the grill as described in the chapter "Cleaning".
3. Insert the power plug in an easily accessible socket.
4. Turn the temperature control dial
5. Let the grill heat up for at least five minutes without any food on it.
6. Turn the temperature control dial until it is set to "OFF".
7. Pull the power plug.
8. Let the grill cool off completely.
9. Clean all parts of the grill again as described in the chapter "Cleaning".
