The middle of the back part of the grill plate is designed to not
get as hot as the rest of the grill plate. Therefore place food
with shorter cooking times there.
You can use the grill to grill food on one or both sides. Grilling on both sides is
suitable for thicker foods such as meat, fish and sandwiches. You also do not
have to flip the food you intend to grill. Grilling food on one side is suitable for
softer, thinner foods such as vegetables. Under certain circumstances, you will
have to flip the food you intend to grill.
Grilling food on both sides
1. Make sure that the temperature control dial
2. Insert the power plug in an easily accessible socket.

6. Flip the device lid all the way up using the handle

margarine or vegetable oil for cooking at high temperatures (see fig. B).
8. Once the heat indicator light has gone out, lay the food you intend to grill on
the grill plate.
9. If applicable, adjust the distance between the bottom and top grill plate by
pushing the release slider to the desired position.
The distance between the grill plates can be set to five different positions;
from position "I" (~0.2" (0.5 cm)) to position "V" (~2" (5 cm)).
10. Close the device lid.
11. Once the food you intend to grill has been cooked to your liking, open the
device lid.
12. Use a heat-resistant, but non-metallic cooking utensil to remove the food
you intend to grill.
13. Turn the temperature control dial to "OFF".
14. Pull the power plug out of the socket.
