Safety instructions
Please read and follow the operating
instructions carefully and keep them for
later reference!
This appliance is designed for domestic
use or for use in household-like
environments. It is not suitable for
commercial and/or medical purposes.
Household-like environments include
staff areas in shops, offices, agricultural
and other commercial businesses or
for use by guests at bed-and-breakfast
establishments, small hotels and similar
residential facilities.
Supervise children to prevent them from
playing with the appliance. Do not drop
anything onto the scales.
Do not open and/or repair the appliance. Do
not use the appliance if damaged.
Batteries which are flat or have not been
used for some time may leak. Therefore
make sure batteries are removed in time
to protect both yourself and the appliance.
If batteries are leaking, avoid contact with
the skin. Do not use rechargeable batteries.
Non-rechargeable batteries may not be
recharged again. Do not short circuit the
terminals. Insert the batteries facing the
correct terminals.

Use
These scales show the weight, the BMI and
the BMI evaluation. To calculate the BMI,
the personal body height must be allocated
to a memory location. 6 memory locations
(users) are available.
Important: The scales tare automatically
after a successful measurement until
switched off. Do not move the scales during
this time. If the scales have been moved,
perform calibration by switching on and
allowing the scales to switch off without
weighing.

1. Stand on the scales. The weight is
displayed.
2. Press the SET button. The memory
location (User) e.g. 1 flashes.
3. Press the SET button to confirm, or use
the navigation buttons ▲▼ to select
another memory location (User).
4. Confirm by pressing the SET button.
The height number
5. Use the navigation buttons ▲▼ to enter
your height in cm, e.g. 173.
6. Press the SET button. The BMI is
c alculated and displayed, e.g. 23.2.
Deleting the entries for an occupied
memory location (User)
■ The scales must be switched on.
■ Use the navigation buttons ▲▼ to
select the required memory location.
■ Press and hold the SET button for at
least 5 seconds. The current entries of
the displayed memory location will be
deleted. The memory location is again
free.
User recognition
The scales automatically identify the users
based on their weight (deviations of +/- 5%
possible).
