To set the system color
(Settings) ➾ CHANNEL ➙ System Color
Adjusts ATV or CATV system color setting.

TIME settings

(Settings) ➾ TIME
• Clock Sets the time.
• Off Time / On Time Sets the time to turn on or
off the TV automatically. To use this function, you
should set the current time and date in advance.
- If you do not press any button within 2 hours
after the TV turns on by the On Time feature,
the TV enters the Standby mode automatically.
- If you set both Off Time and On Time features
to the same time, the Off Time feature
overrides the On Time feature.
- Sleep Timer Sets the length of time until the
TV to turns off. When you turn the TV off and
turn it on again, the Sleep Timer feature will be
set to off.
- Time Zone TV time is set Paris GMT +1 when
time is set automatically by a digital signal.

LOCK settings

(Settings) ➾ LOCK
• Set Password Changes the 4-digit password.
The default PIN is "0 0 0 0".
• Lock Activates or deactivates the lock system.
- Block Programme Blocks the programmes that
contain inappropriate contents for children by
pressing the Blue button. The Lock icon appears
in front of the blocked programmes. The
programmes can be selected but the screen
blank and the audio is muted.
- Parental Guidance This function operates
according to information from the broadcaster.
Therefore if the signal has incorrect
information, this function does not operate.
Prevents children from watching certain adult
TV programmes according to the ratings limit
set. Enter a password to watch a blocked
programme. Ratings differ by country.
- Input Block Blocks the input sources.

OPTION settings

To select the language
(Settings) ➾ OPTION ➙ Language(Language)
• Language Selects a desired language.
- Menu Language Selects a language for the
display text. (English / Spanish (default) /
Portuguese)
To set the caption
(Settings) ➾ OPTION ➙ Caption
View captions when the TV station provides
captioned programming. Program captions work
only on digital/analog broadcasts or external input.
Change Caption to On and select caption settings.
• Mode
- CC 1-4 (Closed Captioning) /
Text 1-4 Displays the audio portion of a TV
program as text on the TV screen. CC1 is the
most common mode in use.
- Digital This is only available for the digital
broadcasting system.
To select the country
(Settings) ➾ OPTION ➙ Country
Sets the country that the TV uses.
- If the country setting is changed, the Auto
Tuning information screen may appear.
- Picture mode settings are changed according
to the selected country.
To set up My Media
(Settings) ➾ OPTION ➙ DivX(R) VOD
• Registration Checks DivX Reg. Code for
replaying DivX protected videos. Register at
http://vod.divx.com. Use Reg. Code to rent or
purchase movies at www.divx.com/vod.
- Rented/purchased DivX files cannot be played
if the DivX Registration Code of a different
device is used. Use only the DivX Registration
Code granted to this specific device.
- Converted files not conforming to the DivX
Codec Standard may not play or may produce
abnormal sound.
• Deregistration Deregisters DivX.
• Close Selects to close DivX(R) VOD
To update the software
(Settings) ➾ OPTION ➙ System Info.
Selects USB Software Update or FW Version.
The firmware will download and install. Upon
completion of the update, your LG TV will restart.
