Operation
1. Plug the device to the mains outlet.
2. Switch the device on with the on-off button.
Notes
Dry woods, leaves, pine needles and dry grasses may catch fire. Watch the treated plants
for some time after treatment.
The best time to treat sprawl is in the spring. The results are not visible immediately.
Older plants with hard leaves, such as thistles, dry earliest after repeated treatment at
intervals of one to two weeks. Some types of grasses are extremely robust and require a
longer exposure to heat.
The weed needs only be heated. Burning is not necessary. The cells of the leaves dry out in
this way and the weed dies.
Certain weed species require repeated treatment.
6.
Care and Maintenance
The mains plug must be disconnected:
When faults occurring during operation

Before performing any cleaning
o
After every use
o
Let the device cool down before storage.
If necessary, wipe the device with a dry, lint-free cloth or a brush.
Do not immerse the device in any liquid.
If the device falls into water, unplug it immediately. Never reach into the water when the
unit is still connected.
