4. Mount upper support to floor side corners
using hex head bolts and flat washers.
5. Repeat Steps 3 and 4 for second upper sup-
port.
6. Make sure that the upper supports are
straight and secure.
ATTACH MOTOR CORD
1. Strip 5" of outer covering from motor cord
and put stripped end of cord through strain
relief.
2. Place motor cord and strain relief into
opening of motor junction box.
3. Make sure that motor cord is secure.
4. Wrap electrical tape around wire nuts and
wires for better insulation.
5. Let motor cord hang loosely.
MOUNT CHIP DEFLECTOR
Chip deflector is mounted onto bottom of
blower housing assembly. To mount chip de-
flector:
1. Position chip deflector on bottom of blow-
er housing assembly.
2. Align holes in chip deflector with holes in
blower housing assembly.
3. Secure chip deflector to bottom of blower
housing assembly using hex head bolts and
flat washers.
MOUNT UPPER COLLECTOR (FIG. 2)
Upper collector is mounted onto bot- tom of
blower housing assembly. To mount upper
collector:
1. Position collector gasket on top of upper
collector.
2. Position collector gasket and upper collec-
tor on bottom of blower housing assembly.
NOTE: The upper collector contains the inlet
opening and can be rotated to the best posi-
tion for connection to inlet duct.
3. Align holes in collector gasket and upper
collector with holes in blower housing as-
sembly.
4. Secure collector gasket and upper collector
to bottom of blower housing assembly using
hex head bolts and flat washers.
MOUNT OUTLET FLANGE (FIG. 2)
Outlet flange is mounted onto rectangular
opening in blower housing assembly.
To mount outlet flange:

1. Position outlet gasket on rectangular
opening in blower housing assembly.
2. Position outlet flange on top of out- let
gasket.
3. Align holes in outlet gasket and out- let
flange with holes in blower housing assem-
bly.
4. Secure outlet gasket and outlet flange
to blower housing assembly using hex head
bolts and flat washers.
MOUNT LOWER SUPPORTS AND SUPPORT
BRACES (FIG. 2)
Lower supports and support braces are
mounted onto bottom of upper supports.
To mount lower supports and support braces:
1. Position lower support on outside bottom
of upper support.
2. Position support brace on inside bottom of
upper support.
3. Align holes in lower support and support
brace with holes in upper support.
4. Secure lower support and support brace
to upper support using hex head bolts, flat
washers and hex nuts.
5. Repeat Steps 1 – 4 for the remaining three
lower supports and support braces.
6. Make sure that the lower supports and
support braces are straight and secure.
RAISING AND LEVELING DUST COLLECTOR
WARNING: The dust collector is very heavy
(340 lbs.) and tall. Be very careful while lift-
ing the dust collector to avoid personal injury
from lifting strain or from impact from fall-
ing equipment. The use of a fork lift or hoist
and lift slings is strongly recommended.
NOTE: Before raising the dust collector, make
certain that there is enough ceiling height
to accommodate the "swing of the bag
hanger." If you are not sure, remove the bag
hanger until after the unit is erect.
RAISE THE DUST COLLECTOR (FIG. 3)
The dust collector is raised using a fork lift or
hoist. To raise the dust collector:
1. Attach slings or cables with at least 750 lbs.
live load capacity under the blower housing.
2. Attach a guide rope to the lifting ring on
the motor.
