ELECTRICAL CONNECTIONS
POWER SOURCE
1. Motor is designed and pre wired for op-
eration on 220 V, 60 Hz.
2. Normal loads will be handled safely on
voltages not more than 10% above or below
the specified voltage.
3. Running unit on voltages not within range
may cause overheating and motor burnout.
4. Determine direction of rotation before
connecting driven equipment to prevent
damage.
ELECTRICAL CONNECTIONS AND GROUND-
ING INSTRUCTIONS
WARNING: All electrical connections must
be performed by a qualified electrician. Make
sure tool is off and disconnected from power
source while motor is mounted, connected,
reconnected or anytime wiring is inspected.
1. Have a qualified electrician attach a 220V,
25 Amp, 3-prong plug onto dust collector
control box line cord.
2. Have a qualified electrician install a prop-
erly grounded 220 V, 25 Amp, 3-prong recep-
tacle near the dust col- lector. The receptacle
should be protected by a fused disconnect
switch in accordance with local and national
codes. Time-delay fuses should be used.
3. Plug must be plugged into a matching out-
let that is properly installed and grounded

in accordance with all local codes and ordi-
nances.
4. The conductor with insulation having an
outer surface which is green is equipment
grounding conductor. If repair or replace-
ment is necessary, make sure equipment
grounding conductor is not connected to line
terminal.
5. If power cord is worn, cut or dam- aged in
any way, have it replaced immediately.
CAUTION: Improper connection of the
equipment-grounding conductor can result
in a risk of electrical shock.
DUCT WORK
Connect duct work to central dust collector
inlet using the shortest and straight- est run
as possible. Use of elbows and dampers will
reduce performance of the dust collector.
The dust work system should be designed
by an Engineer familiar with efficient design
and all local and national building codes.
OPERATION INSTRUCTIONS
OPERATION
1. Larger dust particles are dropped out
of the air stream into the collectors. Light
weight dust particles are carried through the
blower housing assembly and filtered out of
the air stream by the dust filter bag.
