10.7 TEMPERATURE MEASUREMENT

1. Connect the black test lead to the "COM" jack and the red terminal of
the K-type temperature probe to the input jack.
2. Set the selection switch to the desired "°C/°F" position.
3. Press the selection button to choose the "°C" or "°F" measurement.
4. Place the temperature probe across the source under measurement.
5. Read the voltage value on the LCD display.
10.8 NCV (NON-CONTACT VOLTAGE) MEASUREMENT
Due to external interference sources, thus function may cause wrong
voltage detection. Use the results as reference only.
1. Set the selection switch to the desired "NCV" position.
2. Contact the top part of the meter across the source under
measurement. The LED will flash and the audible signal will sound if
voltage is detected.
3. Read the signal on the LCD display.
10.9 LINE (LIVE WIRE RECOGNITION) TEST
1. Connect the black test lead to the "COM" jack and the red test lead to
the input jack.
2. Set the selection switch to the desired "LINE" position.
3. Hold the insulation part of the black test lead and do not put it into the
circuit under measurement. Contact the red test lead across the live
wire and the built-in buzzer will sound; contact the earth line and the
built-in buzzer will not sound.
Note
• When there is a leakage in the circuit (approx. 15 V), the built-in buzzer
will sound even if the red test lead contacts the earth line.

CAPACITANCE MEASUREMENT

Do not conduct capacity measurements on live circuits. Make sure all
capacitors in the circuit are depleted.
