below the safety limit, the oil alert system will shut the engine down
automatically.
In case of a lack of oil, the lack of oil indicator light will come on briefly and then
the engine will stop.
Once the engine is completely off the lack of oil indicator light will come off too,
which you will not see if you are not there.
When attempting to start up the engine again it doesn't work and the red light
indicating low oil flashes while we pull the starter rope. Whenever the generator
does not start, check the engine oil level first and fill if necessary.
NOTE: Protection due to lack of oil must be considered as an extreme
safety. It is the sole responsibility of the user to check the oil level before each
use as indicated in the manual. It is unlikely for this safety to fail, but if it does,
damage in the engine would be very significant. The client would be solely
responsible for lack of maintenance and repair would be excluded from the
warranty.
Remember that it is a safety alarm in case of critical level, it is not a low oil level
indicator.
The oil sensor can detect only low oil level, never oil condition, the engine
can be seriously damaged if the oil is not adequate or is in poor condition (even
when the level is correct).
