Before using your Oster
instructions below:
1. Remove any stickers and packaging materials from the product. Remove static cling
from control panel.
2. DO NOT IMMERSE BASE/HOUSING IN WATER OR ANY OTHER LIQUID.
3. Clean and condition the non-stick surface of the inner pot:
• Wash the inner pot and lid with a soft sponge with hot, soapy water. Rinse and dry
them well.
• Place the inner pot back in the base.
• To condition the cooking surface, plug the appliance into the appropriate electrical
outlet. Press the Power
and then press the Start/Stop Button "Iniciar/Parar". Allow the unit to preheat;
preheating "precalentar" will flash until is it fully heated.
• Once preheating is completed, preheating "precalentar" will disappear from the
LCD display.
• Wipe a small amount of butter or margarine onto the cooking surface, spread
slightly and wipe away any excess.
NOTE: When using the unit for the first time, you may notice a fine smoke haze
coming out from the unit. This is normal. It is due to the initial heating of internal
