Switching on Karla
• Make sure that the mixing bowl and
mixing part have been correctly
assembled.
• Insert the mains plug and switch
on Karla by pressing on the Display
button.
• Turn the rotary knob to the right to
increase the speed.
• Turn the rotary knob to the left to
reduce the speed.
Setting the countdown timer
Always keep an eye on Karla when she's
running in countdown mode and don't
leave the room to make sure you can
intervene if there's a problem.
• Switch on Karla.
• Turn the rotary knob to the left and
hold for 3 seconds until the time
display starts blinking.
• Now, set the time by turning the knob
to the left or right.
• Turn the knob to the right or left to
increase or decrease the set time by
30 seconds.
• Turn the rotary knob to the right
and hold to increase the time by the
minute.
• Turn the rotary knob to the left again
and hold for 3 seconds to confirm the
set time.
• Now, set the speed by turning the
knob to the right. The timer in the
display will begin to count down.
• After the countdown expires, Karla will
automatically end the programme.
Attaching the splash guard
Use the splash guard when processing
particularly runny or splashing ingredients.
Use the filling aid to safely add further
ingredients during the mixing process.
Only attach the splash guard with Karla
switched off.
• Remove the filling aid from the splash
guard and attach the splash guard so
that it rests on the edge.
• Put the filling aid back in.
