User's manual
Sensor seal: Once the sensor lid has been screwed in place, it may be sealed through
the hole on the side. One of the possible ways to seal the sensor is to thread a wire
through the hole and join the ends with a lead seal, as shown in the drawing below.
Signal input and output and sensor connector seal: These connectors are sealed by
fixing the back cover of the LRF-05 with the four screws provided. These screws have a
hole in the head. The four crews are placed at the four corners of the cover and are
sealed by threading a wire through the two crews on one side and joining the ends
together with a lead seal. The same procedure is then repeated for the screws on the
other side.
NOTE: For the correct working of the limiter, it is imperative to fix the back cover.
Programming button cover seal: The programming button cover is sealed by means of
the screws provided. As in the previous cases, a metal wire is threaded through the
holes in the screws and its ends joined by a lead seal. The button must be sealed after
the LRF-05 has been correctly programmed.
NOTE: For the correct working of the limiter, it is imperative to fix the back cover.

2.4 Programming the LRF-05

Once the LRF-05 has been installed, all you need to do is programme it correctly and it is
then ready for use (see section 4.2).

2.5 Calibrating the internal self-checking system

The LRF-05 is equipped with an internal self-checking system that allows you to continually
detect whether the measurement system (sensor) or the hi-fi equipment have been tampered
with. The system also memorises the results obtained during the checking process. Each
LeqT register has this information available in the SLD, SLE and IL parameters (see sections
4.3. and 4.9. When the LRF-05 leaves the factory, its self-checking system is deactivated. To
activate it, the system must first be calibrated (section 4.3) using the software available for
free on

2.6 Recommendations

Checking the LRF-05: We recommend that the LRF-05 be checked at least once a year by
using the CB004
(see section 4.4). Check the unit by removing the lid from the sensor box and introducing the
sensor microphone into the calibrator. The calibrator will set at 94 dB. This value should
appear on screen after a few seconds. If the reading deviates to over  0,5 dB, contact an
official
distributor.
