4. EJECT BUTTON
Via the EJECT-button, you can stop and eject the CD. Please refer to the explanations under 6.2 CD-tray.
5. SGL/CTN-BUTTON
For choosing single playback or continuous play. The indication "SINGLE" means that the CD-player is in
Single-mode. The current track is then played once and the player goes into pause-mode at the beginning of
the next track. By pressing the SGL/CTN-button again, the CD-player changes back to normal playback
mode i.e. after the current track is played, the player remains in playback-mode. If you keep the SGL/CTN-
button pressed for 1 second to activate or deactivate the Auto Cue function.
6. DISPLAY
VFD-display for displaying the different modes and functions. Please refer to the explanations under 6.3
VFD-display.
7. TRACK-ENCODER
Turn the encoder to the right or to the left to select a track from CDs. If you press and turn the control at the
same time, you can select the files of CDs with titles in MP3 format. Tracks and folders are indicated on the
display. By pressing the control, you can switch the display from track name to folder name.
8. MP3 FOLDER-BUTTON
Keep the button pressed for two seconds to indicate the ID3-tag information on the display for tracks in MP3
format.
9. BOP-BUTTON
When calling the Cue-point via the Bop-button the player remains in the play-mode.
10. TAP-BUTTON
Via the Tap-button, you can display the beats per minute of a track. Press the button to the rhythm of the
music. The display shows the current beats per minute (BPM). Press and hold the TAP-button in order to
switch from manual back to automatic beatcounter.
11. BPM-BUTTON
Via the BPM-button, you can switch the display from beats per minute (BPM) to speed-adjustment in %.
12. MAIN TEMPO-BUTTON
With the MAIN TEMPO-button, you can activate the Main Tempo function, i.e. the pitch remains constant
when the speed is changed.
13. PITCH ON/OFF-BUTTON
With this button, you can switch the speed-adjustment via the Pitchfader on and off. Please refer to 6.6
Adjusting the playback-speed.
14. RELAY-BUTTON
By pressing the Relay-button, one unit automatically switches to the other unit after playback has stopped.
Please refer to 6.10 Relay-operation.
15. SHUTTLE-WHEEL
Via the Shuttle-Wheel, you can quickly scan forwards and backwards. Turn the Shuttle-Wheel to the right in
order to scan forwards and turn it to the left in order to scan backwards. The further you turn the Shuttle-
Wheel the higher the scanning-speed. In pause-mode, the current frame is repeated as soon as you turn the
Shuttle-Wheel.
16. JOG-WHEEL
Use this Jog-wheel for scanning, manual search, changing the playback-speed, Cue functions and editing
loop points. Please refer to the explanations under 6.7 Cueing and 6.9 Interactive jog-wheel.
17. LOOP IN/REALTIME CUE-BUTTON
By pressing the In-button, you can memorize the Cue-point. Additionally, you can set the starting point of a
sequence. Please refer to the explanations under 6.8 Memorizing a sequence (Loop-function) and 6.9
Interactive jog wheel.
