MEMORIZING SEVERAL CUE-POINTS / HOT-CUE
With the CMP-1000, you can memorize up to 4 different Cue-points of different tracks and recall them via the
Bank-button or the Cue-button, respectively.
(1) Define a Cue-point as described above. Press the Memory-button (LED on) and the desired Bank-button
in order to memorize the current Cue-point on the Bank-button.
(2) By pressing the Bank-button afterwards, the player starts playback instantly from the corresponding Cue-
point (HOT CUE).
(3) The Bank-buttons can be overwritten at any time. The Cue-points can only be deleted by switching the
CD-player off an on again.
6.8 Memorizing a sequence (Loop-function)
With the Loop-function, you can repeat a programmable sequence. This loop has no limit in time and could
comprise the entire CD. If you would like to memorize it on one of the Bank-buttons, the loops are limited to
five seconds.
MEMORIZING LOOP-POINTS
(1) If the In-button is pressed in playback-mode, the CD keeps running and the A-point (starting-point) is
marked. By pressing the Out-button, the B-point (end-point) of the sequence is marked. The player
repeats the sequence between A-point and B-point until you press the Out-button once more.
(2) The starting point and the end point of a sequence can be precisely defined to 1 frame. Set the unit into
pause-mode and precisely select the A-point (starting-point) via the Jog-wheel. The display shows the
selected A-point (e.g. 3:42:22). Now either select the B-point (end-point) via the Jog-wheel or start
playback again. When the end-point is reached, set the unit to pause again and precisely select the end-
point via the Jog -wheel. The display shows the selected B-point (e.g. 3:51:11). Press the Out-button and
the continuous loop will start. Press the Loop Out-button again to exit the sequence.
(3) You can repeat the sequence once more if you press the Reloop-button and exit again with the Loop
Out-button.
MEMORIZING LOOP-POINTS ON BANK-BUTTONS
(1) Define a loop as described above.
(2) Press the Memory-button (blue LED on) when the loop is replayed.
(3) Memorize the loop points on one of the Bank-buttons.
(4) By pressing the Bank-button afterwards, you can replay the sequence until you exit again with the Loop
Out-button.
EDITING OF LOOPS
(1) To edit a loop end point, keep the Reloop-button pressed for two seconds after having programmed a
sequence.
(2) When the loop is replayed, the end point is indicated in the dislay. You can determine a new end point
with the Jog-wheel. Each anti-clockwise movement of the wheel cuts the loop in half. Each clockwise
movement doubles the length of the loop. The new end point is being replayed until you press the Loop
Out-button and thus memorize the new end point.
6.9 Interactive Jog-wheel
(1) Playback-mode: Via the Jog-wheel, you can adjust the playback-speed by +/-10 %.
(2) Pause-mode: The current frame is repeated as soon as you turn the Jog-wheel.
(3) Vinyl Cue-function: Via the Jog-wheel, you can slowly search within a title forwards and backwards. This
way, you can easily find a Cue-point. Turn the Jog-wheel to the right in order to search forwards and turn
it to the right in order to search backwards. The faster you turn the Jog-wheel the higher the searching-
speed. Press the In-button in order to memorize the Cue-point.
(4) You can determine a new loop end point with the Jog-wheel. Each anti-clockwise movement cuts the
loop in half. Each clockwise movement doubles the length of the loop.
6.10 Relay-operation
In the Relay-operation, the device automatically switches to the other player after playback has stopped.
Thus you can enlarge the music program by using several CDs. In Single-mode, on track is played and then
the CD is changed, in Continuous-mode, CD1 is completeley played and then CD2.
(1) Press the Relay-button (LED on).
