WARNING
Risk of burn injuries by food splashing
The measuring cup is the only part which can be used to cover the air hole
on the lid.
Do not use a dishcloth to cover the hole, since it might result in food
splashing out and put the user at risk of sustaining burn injuries.
BASKET FILTER
ThermoChef Natura basket filter is made of high quality stainless steel. Just
like the measuring cup, the basket filter is also a multifunctional component:
• It can be used as a filter for fruit and vegetable juices. After grinding fruit or
vegetables, put the basket filter into the bowl and use it as a sieve. When
you do this, use the scraper handle to hold the basket and pour the juice
easily.
• As a rule, soft food such as meatballs should be put in the basket filter to stew.
• The basket filter can also be used to cook side dishes such as rice and
potatoes.
How to dismantle the basket filter easily: separate
the scraper into two different pieces (handle and head).
Put the scraper handle into the notch on the upper part
of the basket filter
(picture
9) and remove it carefully
from the jar so as not to get stained or burnt.
How to reduce the water quantity of some food: if
you want to decrease the water quantity of some food
(for instance, when cooking tomato sauce), remove the
measuring cup out of the bowl lid and replace it with the
basket filter upside down. That way, the water will easily
evaporate.
SCRAPER
The scraper is another tool specifically designed for ThermoChef Natura
multifunctional food processor.
• The scraper is the only utensil which can be used to mix or blend food in
the bowl. Accordingly, the scraper can be used during the processes of
cooking, filtering and blending.
• The scraper can also be used to scrape the food
stuck to the walls of the bowl, since its shape fits
into the gap between the blades and the bowl
walls.
• You can stick the scraper into the bowl through the
air hole on the lid. Don't be afraid to touch the
blades with it: its round safety plate will prevent this
from happening
(picture

• It is easy to remove the basket filter with the help
of the scraper handle. The latter can also be used
to hold the basket filter when filtering fruit or
vegetable juice.
