Pick up the tip at the sharp end and place it sideways into the

A 814 holder.
Turn the screw cap of the holder clockwise as far as it will go. The

tip is then encapsulated in the holder.
At the grip end of the A 814 holder, turn the screw cap anti-clock-

wise as far as it will go.
Take hold of the tip at the sharp end and remove it sideways from

the holder.
Perform a visual inspection to check the cleanliness of the tip.

After reprocessing, dry the tip – and the cooling channel in particu-

lar – with sterilised compressed air, then sterilise it following the
manufacturer's instructions. Observe national health and safety reg-
ulations.
