8 - PRECAUTIONS
Do not clean the mask with solutions containing bleach, chlorine, alcohol, aromatic compounds,
humidifiers, antibacterial agents or aromatic oils. Such solutions would damage the product and
reduce its life.
Prolonged exposure to direct sunlight or heat may cause damage to the mask.
If any visible damage is noted (cracks, tears, etc.), the damaged part must be replaced.
Check carefully to make sure there are no soap deposits or foreign bodies inside the mask.
Check regularly that the vents are not obstructed. Clean with a soft brush if necessary.
9 - HOW TO REASSEMBLE THE MASK
Insert the anti-suffocation fitting (g) in the main body (b) of the mask, pressing gently.
Insert the swivel fitting (h) in the anti-suffocation fitting (g), pressing gently.
Fit the grooved side of the cushion (a) into the frame of the main body (b). Insert the top, then the sides
of the mask, pressing the cushion until the whole edge fits snugly in the main body.
Fit on the cap (f).
Pass the two lower straps of the headgear (i) through the slots in the clips (l).
Attach the two upper straps of the headgear (i) to the main body (b).
Clip the two clips (l) back onto the main body (b).
Turn the adjusting knob (d) to the reference position you noted previously.
10 - PRESSURE/OXYGEN PORT
If additional oxygen or a pressure reading is required, use the port in the main body (b).
Open the cap (f) by lifting upwards, without removing it.
Push the pressure/oxygen tube firmly into the port.
