FIvE EASY STEPS TO SETTING UP THE TRANSLATOR
CONTENTS OF BOx:
Translator
Side bag with zipper contains:
Backrest
2 Knobs with plastic spacer and bolt
Footrests (2)
2 Black backrest pins
Owner's Guide
1. INSTALL hANDLES.
Remove the plastic from around the handles. Insert
the brake handles into the back of the frame. Brake
cables should be on the outside of the frame. Slide
to desired height. Line up adjustment holes and
insert bolt from inside of frame. Tum bolt until it
is fully seated into frame. Install plastic spacer on
outside of frame. Screw on knob until snug.
2. INSTALL CUp hOLDER.
Remove the cup holder from the box. Remove the
bolt from the clamp. Secure the cup holder around
the frame in your desired location. Insert and
tighten knob.
3. ATTACh BACkREST.
Slide one side of the backrest into the side mount
Insert the black self locking pin (located in side
bag) into center hole until fully seated. Repeat for
opposite side.
4. BRAkE ADjUSTmENT.
The Translator brakes can be adjusted by using
the adjustment nut located on lower frame or by
loosening the allen screw on the retainer at the end
of the cable. Refer to your owners guide for the
complete instructions on adjusting the brakes.
5. SECURE ThE SEAT. *
The Translator comes with a new style seat cradle
that requires an extra push to snap the seat rail
into the cradle. Make sure that both seat rails are
full seated into the cradles prior to use. Please do
not wrap your hands around the seat rails when
pushing down. Use your palms and push on the top
of the seat rails.

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
TO OpEN ThE ChAIR
1. Hold onto one armrest and push the opposite side to open the chair.
2. With your fingers and thumbs pointed towards the inside of the Translator, push downward on the seat to ensure the
Translator is fully open. Keep hands and fingers away from any moving parts.
3. The Translator comes with a new style seat cradle that requires an extra push to snap the seat rail into the cradle.
Make sure that both seat rails are fully seated into the cradles prior to use. Please do not wrap your hands around the
seat rails when pushing down. Use your palms and push on the top of the seat rails.
*mAkE SURE ThAT SEAT IS FULLY SNAppED INTO CRADLES BEFORE USING.
TO CLOSE / FOLD ThE ChAIR
1. Ensure the swing-away leg rests are in the forward and locked position.
2. Fold the footplates up to the vertical position.
3. Using both hands, grasp the center of the seat upholstery at the front and back edge and lift the seat up.
CONvERTING FROm WhEELChAIR TO ROLLATOR
1. Rotate the backrest from rear to front by lifting upward.
2. Unlock footrest and swing around until firmly seated in safety/retaining clip on the side of the Translator.
ChECkING / ADjUSTING / OpERATING ThE BRAkES
• Before each use, check to make sure the brakes are working properly.
• Pulling up on the brake handles locks the wheels
momentarily.
• Pushing down on the brake handles will lock the
wheels in place.
