Installing the Alarm
You can mount the magnetic sensor on a door or window, and the
alarm on the door or window frame [B]. The sensor is fixed with
double-sided tape [C], the alarm can be fixed either with screws or
double-sided tape. Take the following into account:
• When using double-sided tape, make sure that the mounting
surface and the devices are dry, clean, and grease-free.
• The distance between sensor and alarm is max. 10 mm when the
door or window is closed. You can install the sensor on either side
of the alarm.
To install the alarm, proceed as follows:
Mount the alarm on the frame of the door or window. For screw

mounting: unscrew the back cover from the alarm. Use the
holes in the back cover to screw it to the mounting surface.
Place the alarm back on the cover and fix the cover with the
screw.

Operation
Arming and Disarming the Alarm
To arm/disarm the alarm, proceed as follows:
• To arm the alarm, press 4 on the keypad. The alarm emits a
confirmation tone to indicate that arming is successful. Note that
the alarm is only activated after a delay of 30 seconds, to allow
you to leave the area without triggering the alarm.
When the alarm detects vibration or when the magnetic contact is
broken (the door/window opens), the siren goes off after a delay
of 5 seconds. These 5 seconds allow you to disarm the alarm
before it goes off.
• To disarm the alarm, type the security code.
Activating/Deactivating the Vibration Alarm
If the vibration alarm is triggered unwantedly (for example in areas
with heavy traffic that cause vibrations), you can deactivate it.
Note: The vibration alarm is activated each time you replace
batteries. Remember to deactivate it if necessary.
To deactivate the vibration alarm, proceed as follows:
Make sure that the alarm is disarmed.
