7.2 App Download and Setup
App Download
1. On your smartphone or tablet, click the App or Google Play Store. Search for OMGuard HD.
2. Once located, download the app.
3. Once the download completed, you will find the app icon on the display.
App Setup
1. Connect your mobile device to the same Wifi router the CAMIP21 camera is connected to.
2. Locate the OMGuard HD icon on your mobile device. Launch the app.
3. Click the Add Camera icon to add a new camera.

4. Click the Search button for a quick setup. The app will search the available camera(s) connected to
the Wifi router and display the information in the pop-up list. Select your CAMIP21 camera from the
list, the app will automatically add the DID code to the column. Enter code/password 123456.
It is advisable to change the password. Choose a unique password, using a
mix of letters and symbols. Keep your password secure.
5. Click Save to complete the camera settings. The system confirms the user identity and grants
permission to user access.

The CAMIP21 camera will not find the network if the Wifi router turns
off the SSID (Service Set Identifier) broadcasting function. Make sure
to enable the SSID broadcasting to complete the settings.
•
Most Wifi routers broadcast the SSID by default.
•
The CAMIP21 camera will only accept the SSID composed with English
characters and Arabic numbers. Non-English and special characters
(! @ # $ %, etc.) will not be accepted.
