Check that the tubular filter is clean by holding it up against a light
source e.g. a window or a lamp. The filter lets light through. If light
is not visible in places, or it only lets very little light through, then
the tubular filter is not clean and should be cleaned again.
Check the filter for damage e.g. small holes or tears. These are
evident because these areas let more light through. Damaged tubu-
lar filter must not be used.
Remove any soiling from the O-rings. Check the O-rings for visible
signs of wear and tear.

Replace the tubular filter.
Then rinse the brush thoroughly under running water.
If wished, the tubular filter and the brush can be cleaned in the ma-
chine after cleaning inside the filter with the brush. Place the filter and
the brush loose in a basket or mobile unit to do so.
The brush will suffer wear and tear and should therefore be re-
placed every 2 to 3 years.
