Installation

Note!
The installation and assembly of electrical
equipment may only be performed by a
qualified electrician.
For reasons of safety, the supply cable
(230 V) must not be fed through the wall
socket which contains the radio element.
The flush-mounted radio is also suitable
for indoor use and use in damp environ-
ments, provided its installation is drip
proof and splashproof.
All electronic devices cause interference
signals, which can be picked up by radios
to a degree.
For this reason, reception interference
could occur with a direct combination of
the flush-mounted radio and electronic
devices in an installation unit. For this
reason, carry out a functional check be-
fore installing such a combination. Possi-
ble interference can be minimised by in-
creasing the distance between the flush-
mounted devices.
The radio is installed into two (preferably
deep) wall sockets. Use a double wall
socket when installing the radio into a hol-
low wall. The connecting hole of a single
socket is too small for the connector cable.
