5. Troubleshooting

Problem
Motor does not start
Reduced suction power
No suction power
during wet cleaning

Cause
> Plug of mains lead not
inserted
> Fuse of mains plug
socket has blown
> Overload protection
switch has tripped
> Bag-type filter full
> Suction hose clogged
> Filter element clogged
> Tank full (float switch
closing off the suction
opening)
Remedy
• Insert main lead plug
into plug socket
• Reset the fuse
• Allow the cleaner to
cool down for approx. 5
minutes; if the cleaner
does not start again
automatically, contact
the Service Dept.
• Replace bag-type filter
• Clean suction hose
• Clean or replace filter
element
• Empty tank
