To guarantee a trouble-free and safe operation, no additional ferrous magnetic part
should be mounted within reach of the pole plate.

Labels for warning and instruction may not be removed
u
from the demagnetizer!
Never use a demagnetizer with a malfunction or a damage.
u
Do not leave the demagnetizer switched on for longer times without
u
any workpiece!
When placing ferrous magnetic parts on an activated chuck, the danger
u
of squeezed body parts exist!
Never allow water or any liquid enter to the device!
u
In order to comply with the EMC guidline, the demagnetizer should be
u
at least 2 meters removed from (control) cables, electrical and electronic
appliances!
The maximum work piece temperature should not exeed 60 °C!
u
Incorrect operating voltage selection (selection of 115 V during operation
u
in 230 V mains network) can result in damage to the device.
To exclude failures and hazards, it is important for the operator to be authorised.
The operator is responsible for any other people within the working area. The
tasks for several works have to be previously cleared and followed. The factory
management has to make the operating instructions accessible for the operator
and has to ensure, that the instructions are read and understood by the opera-
tor. For this, take also a look to operating instructions of magnetic chuck or sine
table.
Always wear safety shoes and safety gloves.
The table demagnetizer is supplied ready to work.
u
Place the device in a dry environment.
u
The voltage pre-selection for the designed mains voltage must be checked
u
before commissioning. Basic installation of the table demagentizer is a 4A
fuse. When using 115 V / 60 Hz, the 4A fuse must be replaced with a 8A fuse
(included in the scope of delivery). Then insert the plug into a properly
earthed socket.
For use of 115 V / 60 Hz please use an adaptive plug (not in purchased part
u
package).
