05. OPERATION

How to assemble/disassemble the vegetable slicer/grater
1. Insert the required grating or slicing drum
Position the snap-in openings
down until it locks in place with an audible click.
2. Loosen the locking screw and remove the cap (see fig.
3. Insert the mounted vegetable slicer/grater into the accessories coupler then
tighten the locking screw (see fig.
4. To remove the drum, put your thumbs into the drum then pull it out of the
housing with slight outward pressure (see fig.

How to use the vegetable slicer/grater with the food processor
1. Cut the required food into pieces so that it fits through the filler tube
necessary, remove the inside, seeds or peel from the fruits to be processed.
2. Place a suitable container underneath the opening of the vegetable slicer/
grater.
3. Now you may connect the plug to a wall socket. Never do this beforehand.
4. Switch on the food processor and set the speed control to speed level 1;
the drum rotates. You can increase the speed level depending on the food
to be processed. However, speed level 3 must not be exceeded.
5. Use the tamper
NOTE: When filling in the food, make sure it covers the entire width of the gra-
ting or slicing drum. Thus, you can achieve best possible results.
