OPERATION
Defrosting toasts:
Repeat steps 1-4 and press the DEFROST button. Its indicator lights up red.
HINTS
• Browning level 3 is a predefined setting to toast for golden brown colour with
energy saving consideration.
• The ideal browning level depends on bread type, slice thickness and toasting time.
Please try several times to find your favourite setting.
• Use a lower setting when toasting a single bread slice.

Bun warming:
Open warming rack arms
and place the rack on the
toaster.

After use:
Unplug the appliance.

Place the buns to be
reheated on the warming
rack.
Removing toasts:
Caution! Bread slices and parts of the appliance get very
hot and stay hot for some time after operation. Do not
use conductive tools, such as a fork, to remove toast from
the appliance as this may damage the heating elements.
Removing lodged toasts:
• If toast is lodged inside the appliance, press the
CANCEL button and disconnect the power plug from
the electrical outlet.
• Wait until the appliance has cooled completely.
• Remove toast carefully and take care not to damage
the heating elements.
