BEFORE FIRST TIME USE
• Fill the water kettle with fresh water up to the MAX marking and boil the water 2-3
times. Discard the water after each cycle. This is to remove any residues remaining
from the manufacturing process.
• Due to the manufacturing process, the appliance may emit a slight burning odour
when switched on for the first time. This is normal and does not indicate any defect
or hazard.

Connect the power plug
to a suitable electrical
outlet.

Do not exceed the MAX
marking.
HINTS
• You can manually stop the boiling process at any time by setting the on/off switch
to the 0 position.
• Ensure 15-20 second intervals between boiling cycles.

Remove the water kettle
from the stand.

Close the lid. Place the
water kettle on the stand.
Make sure the stand is
placed on a level surface.

Open the lid and fill the
water kettle with fresh
water (min 0.5 L / max 1 L).

Set the on/off switch to
the I position to switch the
water kettle on.
The power indicator lights
up red.
