The water kettle switches

water has been boiled.
The on/off switch pops
up to the 0 position and
power indicator goes off.

CLEANING AND CARE

WARNING! Before cleaning, make sure to switch off the appliance and disconnect it
from the electrical outlet and let it cool completely.
WARNING! Never immerse the appliance in water or other liquids.
• Clean the appliance with a soft, slightly damp cloth. Make sure that no moisture is
entering the appliance during cleaning.
• Never use corrosive detergents, wire brushes, abrasive scourers, metal or sharp
implements to clean your appliance.
• Dry the appliance thoroughly after cleaning.
• Store the appliance in a cool, dry location, away from children and pets.
• Wind the power cord around the cord storage underneath the stand.

After use:
Unplug the appliance.
Cleaning the filter
• Pull the filter out of the spout.
• Rinse the filter with warm water and gently remove
any scale with a soft brush.
• Re-insert the filter in its original location by pressing it
down into the spout. It only fits one way.
CAUTION
• Do not open the lid
when steam is emitted
from the spout.
• Extreme caution
is necessary when
moving any appliance
containing hot water.
