6.5.5 Selecting the projectors in the program
The number of projectors to be used in a program can be individually adjusted for every program.
Press the Menu-button and and select "Menu 2 Make Prog." via the Up/Down-buttons or the Data Entry
fader. Press the Enter-button. Select the menu "Edit Mask" via the Up/Down-buttons and press the Enter-
button.
Select the desired projector via the Projector Select button. All project numbers marked with "*" are activated
in the program and the respective Projector Select button flashes. If you wish to remove certain projectors
from the program, press the respective Projector Select button. The LED turns off and the display shows "X".
Press the Enter-button twice in order to save the settings.
6.5.6 Inverting the Pan/Tilt movement
The Pan and Tilt movement of a scanner can be inverted for every program. This function is particularly
useful if scanners are installed face to face in the room and a synchronic movement is desired.
Caution: Please note that the inverting of the Pan/Tilt movement has to be adjusted before you start
programming.
Press the Menu-button and and select "Menu 2 Make Prog." via the Up/Down-buttons or the Data Entry
fader. Press the Enter-button. Select the menu "Make Program Mirror Direction" via the Up/Down-buttons
and press the Enter-button.
Select the desired projector via the Projector Select button. All project numbers marked with "->" have the
normal Pan-direction. If you wish to invert the Pan-movement for certain projectors, press the respective
Projector Select button. The display shows "<-" for the projector with inverted Pan-movement.
Press the Down-button in order to invert the Tilt-movement.
Press the Escape-button in order to return to the menu "Make Program2. Program your program now.
6.6 Records
A record is a sequence of different programs that will be called up one after another. With the CP-256, you
can program up to 16 different records which can be assigned to the projector select buttons 1-16.
6.5.1 Programming a Record
Press the Menu-button and select "Menu 1 Make Record" via the Up/Down-buttons or the Data Entry fader.
Press the Enter-button. Select the desired record via the projector select buttons. The display shows the
Step-number and the respective program, the program speed and the repition rate or sound-control.
Adjust the desired program via the projector select buttons. Adjust the program speed and the repition rate
via the Speed-fader or Rate-fader or activate the sound-control via the Music-button.
Select the next step via the Up/Down-buttons or the Data Entry fader and enter the desired program via the
projector select buttons. Program the next steps until the record is finished or the maximum number of steps
- 99 - has been reached. Press the Escape-button and the Enter-button in order to save the record.
6.6.2 Running a Record
Press the Record-button and select the desired record via the projector select buttons.
6.6.3 Editing a Record
Should you notice that a record does not correspond to your imagination you can edit it.
First note the total number of steps. Press the Menu-button and select "Menu 1 Make Record" via the
Up/Down-buttons or the Data Entry fader. Press the Enter-button. Select the desired record via the projector
select buttons.
Select the desired step via the Up/Down-buttons or the Data Entry fader and enter the desired program via
the projector select buttons. Edit the next steps until the record is corrected. Press the Escape-button and
the Enter-button in order to save the edited record.
6.7 Copying scenes, programs and records
With the Copy-function, you can make programming of programs and records easier by copying already
existent scenes into a program.
