Beginning work with the machine
Attention:
Ensure that no objects such as metal
parts, screws, etc. are lying on the floor be-
fore you start cleaning.
These objects may damage the machine
when sucked up!
Notice:
Ensure that the double filter paper bag is
inserted properly and that enough filling
capacity is available.
• Press the locking button and move
the guide bar downwards.
• Remove the mains connection cord
from the cable hook.
• Pull the guide bar upwards until it
locks into position.
• Switch on the machine (plug + main
switch).
• Hold the handle of the guide bar and
bring the machine into the working
position by pressing the pedal.
The electric suction brush will turn
on.
• Use the machine as follows for clean-
ing, e.g. under beds:
Press the pedal again in the working
position until the suction unit is
placed on the floor.
Attention:
If the red display lights up, correct the
brush height as described below.
If the red display lights up for too long, the
carpet may be damaged.

Correct brush height, turn the adjust-
ment button to the right or left.
Notice:
Interrupt vacuuming for a moment, then
lock the machine in the vertical position.
Subsequently, the electric suction brush
will stop so that no damage is done to car-
pets.
Working with accessories
• Lock the machine in the vertical posi-
tion.
The electric suction brush will turn
off.
• Attach, for example, the crevice noz-
zle or dusting nozzle to the suction
hose or the suction pipe.
• After cleaning is complete, return the accessories to their
holders.
Working with the false air nozzle
• Remove the suction pipe for hand
tools from the holder. Turn the false
air nozzle into the position indicated
in the image.
• After cleaning is complete, return the accessories to their
holders.
