APPLICATIONS

○ Cutting various types of soft steel materials including
conduit pipes, stainless steel pipes, lining steel pipes
and steel rods
○ Cutting nonferrous metal materials including power
and communication cables and aluminum window
frames
○ Cutting plastic (thermoplastic material cannot be cut
as the band saw blade may become wedged in the
material which is prone to melting when heated by
cutting friction
REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION METHOD
OF BATTERY
Battery and battery charger are not included with this
product.
1. Battery removal
Hold the handle tightly and push the battery latch to
remove the battery (See Fig. 4).
CAUTION
Never short-circuit the battery.
2. Battery installation
Insert the battery while observing its polarities (see
Fig. 4).

CHARGING METHOD

Before using the power tool, charge the battery as follows.
Battery and battery charger are not included with this
product.
NOTE
Before plugging into the receptacle, make sure the
following points.
○ The power source voltage is stated on the
nameplate.
○ The cord is not damaged.

ASSEMBLY AND OPERATION

WARNING
Do not charge at voltage higher than indicated
on the nameplate.
If charged at voltage higher than indicated on the
nameplate, the charger will burn up.
1. Connect the charger's power cord to a receptacle.
When the power cord is connected, the charger's pilot
lamp will blink in red. (At 1-second intervals)
WARNING
Do not use the electrical cord
if damaged. Have it repaired
immediately.
2. Insert the battery into the charger.
Firmly insert the battery into the charger as shown in
Fig. 5.

3. Charging
When the battery is connected to the battery charger,
charging will commence and the pilot lamp will light in
red. (See Table 2)
NOTE
If the pilot lamp fl ikers in red, pull out the plug from
the receptacle and check if the battery is properly
mounted.
When the battery is fully charged, the pilot lamp
will blink in red slowly. (At 1-second intervals) (See
Table 2)
(1) Pilot lamp indication
The indications of the pilot lamp will be as shown in
Table 2, according to the condition of the charger or
the rechargeable battery.
