Configuring the LAN Port
Step 1:
Enter the MAIN/QC/LAN menu
Step 2: Select LAN 1 or LAN 2, and enter a parameter in each field
LAN
This field indicates the LAN interface that is chosen. It is view-only.
Interface
This field is only applicable to LAN 2. LAN 2 can be set to Enabled or
(TAB)
disabled (deactivating the LAN interface).
Network Type:
Virtual mode enables network address translation
Global mode disables network address translation
(Note: LAN 1 and LAN 2, must be configured to the same network
Type)
IP address:
Enter the address of the IP network
Note: LAN 1 and LAN 2 must be set to different IP addresses, if they
are set to the same address you will see the following message:
Duplicate IP address in LAN1 and LAN2
You must fix this problem before you can exit the screen.
Subnet Mask:
Enter the mask of the IP network
Step 3:
Hold down the Ctrl-S keys to save the parameters
