Disassembling the rake (2)

Perform the steps in the order given below:
Take off the guard (11) for the links.
Locking the tool in a clamp, pry with a screw driver to remove the spring (7) and link (6), loosen the self-locking nut (3)
and remove the pin (5).
Put the guard (11) back on.
Perform the steps in reverse order to reassemble the parts.
6.2.6

Teeth replacement in the MA100

The damaged teeth have to be removed from their seat:
Separate the small protrusions (4), locking the tooth in its seat, by means of a screwdriver (see picture C).
Remove the damaged tooth following the arrow direction
Put the new tooth into its seat till the small locking protrusions (4) come out (picture D).
WARNING!
Never operate the tool when the guard (11) that protects the links (6) is not in place.
7.1

Disposal of exhaust materials

After having been installed and during use, the machine does not cause any environmental pollution. However,
throughout its working life, some types of residual waste or exhaust materials (such as filters, oil, etc.) are being
produced in certain maintenance situations.
There are specific regulations in every Country as for the disposal of these materials and the environment protec-
tion. The Customer is required to be knowledgeable in the Laws in force in his own Country and to operate only
while complying with these regulations, according to the indications in the product technical charts, which may
be obtained from the Manufacturer.

The Laws in force about the disposal of mineral oils must be followed.

More information about the disposal of oils and other substances can be found in the safety chart of the sub-
stances.
The steps employed in the disposal of toxic waste including the collecting, transporting, processing (transfor-
mation for recycling), as well as the deposit and the dumping onto the ground are all usual activities of common
interest and are subject to the following general principles:
a)
Any risks of injuries or dangers for the health and safety of any individual and of the community have
to be avoided.
b)
Compliance with any and all hygienic-sanitary requirement and avoidance of any air, water, ground
and underground pollution have to be guaranteed.
Compliance with efficient and economical principles in order to save and recycle energy and materials shall be
promoted.
7.2

Indications for special waste

Special waste is that deriving from industrial processes as well as from materials of dismantled equipment and
deteriorated and obsolete machineries.
The special (also toxic and harmful) waste producers shall provide for its disposal directly or through qualified,
authorised companies or bodies, or shall deliver them to public service after having made an agreement.
When disposing of special waste, check with the relevant local government authority for any available information
regarding such waste disposal in your region.

Any unauthorised disposal by the owner of a product is followed by the application of the sanctions due to the
regulations in force.

In compliance with the Directive 2012/19/EU on RAEE any bought element/equipment marked with the symbol of
the crossed dustbin means that it has to be collected, at the end of its working life, separately from other waste:
