CLEANING AND DISINFECTION
CLEANING THE STEAM NOZZLE
Water with a high mineral count, use of saline water
and aromatherapy treatments may clog the steam
nozzle. If the steam inhaler begins to produce a
significatory less amount of steam or no steam but
has power and water in the water heater tank, the
steam nozzle may need be cleaned. Be certain that
the unit has entirely cooled before attempting to
clean the steam nozzle.
1. Locate the small spring pin on the underside of the
unit, Fig. 1. Use a non-metal tool to pop the pin out.
2. Remove the top housing of the unit. Locate the steam
nozzle, twist counter-clockwise and lift up the nozzle
as shown, Fig. 2.
3. Use the small spring to thread each of the two small
holes in the steam nozzle to clear the holes, Fig. 3.
4. Replace the steam nozzle. Make sure the suction
tubing is straight before attempting to use, Fig. 4.
