Getting started
Clean all parts as described in the "Cleaning and care" section before allowing them to come into
contact with food.
▪ Stand the container (2) on the drive unit (4) and lock it in place by turning it clockwise. Make sure
that the container (2) is positioned correctly, see the markings on the drive unit (4) as well as on
the container (2).
▪ Place the stainless steel blade (3) into the slot at the bottom of the container (2).
▪ Warning: The blade (3) is sharp. For this reason, always attach the protective cover when the blade
(3) is not in use, and pick up the blade unit (3) by the plastic handle only.
▪ Add coarsely-chopped food to the container (2) to no higher than the MAX mark and lock the lid
(1) in place by turning it in a clockwise direction. Make sure that the lid (1) is positioned correctly.
▪ After connecting the mains plug, press the pulse button on the lid (1) in multiple short bursts until
the desired result has been obtained. Do not press down on the pulse button for more than 30
seconds because the device is only designed to be used for short periods.
▪ Wait until the stainless steel blade (3) has come to a complete standstill before removing the lid (1).
Safety function
The processor's motor will only start if the container (2) and lid (1) are attached correctly. The lid (1)
cannot be removed while the device is in operation.
Overload protection
The appliance is fitted with an overload protector. This prevents the motor being damaged by
overloading. If the appliance switches off during operation, proceed as follows:
▪ Pull out the mains plug and allow the appliance to cool down for approx. 20-30 minutes.
▪ Once the appliance has cooled down, insert the mains plug into the socket again and continue with
processing.
Cleaning and care
Remove the mains plug after use. Never immerse the drive unit (4) in water, simply wipe it externally
with a damp cloth. Never use abrasive cleaning agents. Take care when cleaning that you do not injure
yourself on the sharp blade (3). Food residue may get into the blade slot. Remove this after every use.
