Unsuitable cookware: The display flashes the error signal

no pot has been placed on the selected cooking zone.

the pot is not suitable for induction cooking.

the pot is too small or not properly centred on the cooking zone.
Note: The cooking zone will not start operation unless there is a suitable pot on the cooking zone. The display will automatically turn off after
1 minute if no suitable pot is placed on it.
Switching off a single cooking zone

Touch the selection control of the cooking zone you want to switch off.

Touch the on/off control
Turn off the appliance at the main switch after each use. Do not wait until the hob turns off automatically.
Note:
A built-in cooling fan runs automatically to prevent the electronics from overheating. It will continue operation even after you have turned off the
appliance. Do not switch off the power supply to the appliance while the fan is running!
Residual heat warning

The appliance features a residual heat indicator for each cooking zone.
The indicator appears on the display after the cooking zone is switched off to indicate that the cooking zone is still hot. The indicator disappears
when the surface has cooled to a safe temperature.
Hint: If you want to heat further pots, use the hotplate that is still hot to save energy.

Cancelling: Touch the heating zone selection control of which you wish to cancel the boost function.
Option A: Touch the boost control . The cooking zone reverts to its original setting.

flexible area
This area can be used as a single zone or as 3 different zones, accordingly to the cooking needs anytime. Flexible area is made of two independent

inductors that can be controlled separately. When working as a single zone, a cookware is moved from one zone to the other one within the
flexible area keeping the same power level of the zone where the cookware originally was placed, and the part that is not covered by cookware is
automatically switched off.
Important: Make sure to place the cookwares centered on the single cooking zone. In case of big, oval, rectangular and elongated pots/pans make
sure to place the pans centered on the cooking zone covering both cross.
Large cooking zone: To activate the flexible area as a single big zone, press the dedicated keys.

If the pot is moved from the front to the rear part (or vice versa), the flexible area detects automatically the new position, keeping the same power.
To add a further pot, press again the dedicated keys, in order to detect the cookware.
3 independent zones: To use the flexible area as 3 different zones with different power settings, press the or key.
