Using your kettle

Beforeusingyourkettle,orifithasnotbeenusedfor
overaweek,followtheseinstructionstoboilthe
maximumamountofwater,thendiscardtoensure
thesystemisflushedthrough.
The following instructions detail the steps to follow to use
your kettle. For cleaning instructions, see the following page.
Remove the Lid (2) and fill your kettle with the desired

amount of water.
Replace the Lid. The bevelled arrow on the Lid points

forward towards the Spout (4). Ensure the Lid is secured
correctly into place before use.
Place your Kettle onto the 360º Connector (9) on the

Cordless Base (8).
Press the On/Off Switch (7) to begin boiling.

Your Kettle will Illuminate as it boils.
When your kettle reaches boiling point, the

illumination will extinguish and the hot water is ready to
use. Allow a few seconds before pouring.
Pour the hot water from the Spout into a vessel. To

maintain the prestine look of your glass kettle please
contact our Consumer Engagement Centre.
CAUTION: HOT.
Care & Cleaning
WARNING: Always disconnect the plug from the mains and
allow your kettle to cool before cleaning.
Wipe the outside with a damp cloth.
IMPORTANT: Do not use abrasive cleaners on the
outside of the kettle as this may scratch the surface.
Descaling
IMPORTANT: As this appliance is fitted with a concealed
element it must be descaled regularly. The frequency of
descaling depends on usage and the hardness of the water
in your area.
Excessive scale can cause the appliance to switch off before
boiling and may damage the element
invalidating the warranty. It is essential that regular
descaling takes place. We recommend descaling your kettle
every month.
Use a proprietary descaling product suitable for
stainless steel, glass or plastic. Please follow the instructions
on the packet carefully.
